Patricia Pichardo received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University (2014), M.S. in Chemical Engineering from UCLA (2016), and is currently a Chemical Engineering Ph.D. candidate at UCLA. Patricia has worked industrially in both the Aerospace and Bioscience industries for companies such as The Aerospace Corp., MOOG Inc, and Prolacta Bioscience. She is currently a doctoral candidate under Prof. Manousiouthakis in his Hydrogen Energy Research Consortium (HERC), where her research areas include process intensification, green engineering, optimization, and process synthesis. Specifically, she focuses on hydrogen production via Steam-Methane Reforming, and Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Plants (IGCC).
